What Barricades and Chainlink Fencing Are Used For

Two different jobs get grouped under one heading, and picking the wrong one wastes money.

Barricades direct people. They are for queue lines at a roadshow, keeping a crowd back from a stage, marking a walking route through a car park, or closing off a lane during a street event. They are meant to be moved, reconfigured and moved again during the same event.

Chainlink fencing encloses. It is for a site perimeter, an equipment compound you need to leave overnight, a hazard zone that has to stay off limits, or a stall you want to lock up when you go home. It goes up once and stays put for the length of the job.

Plenty of jobs need both: fencing around the perimeter, barricades inside it to move people through.

What to tell us when you enquire

The quote comes together fastest when we know four things:

• Run length or area. Roughly how many metres of perimeter, or the size of the space you are enclosing.
• People or vehicles. Holding back a crowd and stopping a car are different requirements.
• Access. Whether you need a gate, and whether it needs to lock. We can build the locking arrangement around how you actually work.
• Ground and duration. Tarmac, grass, soil or concrete, and how many days it stays up.

Sizes, panel counts and rates are quoted per job rather than published as a flat rate, because a one-day roadshow barrier line and a month-long site perimeter are not the same product. Send the details on WhatsApp and we will come back with a figure.

Do you install and remove the fencing?

Yes. Our crew delivers, installs and collects. For a perimeter that has to line up with a boundary or an access route, a site check before installation day is worth the time.

Can the fencing be locked?

Yes. The locking arrangement is built to suit the job, so tell us whether you need a single lockable gate, a wider vehicle opening, or a compound that stays sealed overnight.

Can I rent barricades for one day only?

Yes. Single-day hire is normal for roadshows, ceremonies and street events. Longer site work is quoted by the period.

Which areas do you cover?

Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor. Transport is quoted separately based on the venue.
