A banquet chair is the padded, framed chair used for seated dinners: weddings, corporate annual dinners, galas and award nights. It is a step up from a plastic folding chair in both looks and comfort for guests seated two hours or more, and it takes a cover and ribbon if you want it dressed to match a colour theme.
If the budget does not stretch to banquet chairs for the whole room, the usual move is to put banquet chairs at the head table and VIP rows, and plastic chairs in the overflow or crew area. We can quote both on the same order.

Covers, Ribbons and Matching Your Theme
White covers are the standard for wedding dinners. Ribbons are tied over the cover at the back of the chair and can be matched to a colour theme. If you are also renting banquet tables, tell us the table linen colour at the same time so the chairs and the tables are quoted and delivered together.
Booking and Lead Time
Confirm your order at least two weeks before the event where possible; festive weekends and the wedding season book out earlier. Last-minute cancellations on a confirmed order can leave us short-stocked for your date, so hold the date once you are sure rather than placing a provisional order "just in case."

Can I rent just the chair covers, without renting the chairs?

How far ahead should I confirm a banquet chair order?
Two weeks ahead is comfortable for most dates. Peak wedding season and festive weekends fill up earlier, so confirm sooner if your date falls in one.
