Which photo booth suits your event?

The right pick depends on the room, the guest count and what you want people to walk away with. A seated wedding dinner at a hotel ballroom in KL usually wants a DSLR booth near the entrance, so guests queue for a printed photo between courses. A birthday party or community hall event in PJ often does better with a digital booth, since throughput is faster and no one waits long for a print. A standing cocktail reception, trade show booth or roadshow in Penang or Johor works best with a roaming booth, because there is no fixed spot for guests to queue at. A brand activation or product launch that wants shareable video content usually goes for the 360 spin booth instead.

Guest count matters too. Under 100 guests, any of the four works fine. Past 200 guests at a single event, digital or roaming tend to move people through faster than a single DSLR station can.

The four booth types and what they cost

  • DSLR photo booth. Professional camera, studio lighting, on-site printing. From RM1,300.
  • Digital photo booth. Instant printer, unlimited prints during the session, AirDrop and QR sharing. From RM1,100.
  • Roaming photo booth. Handheld unit that goes to your guests instead of the other way round. From RM1,100.
  • 360 video booth. Rotating platform, slow-motion spin video, built for social sharing. From RM1,300.

These are start-from prices for the standard package. Transport and setup are quoted separately once we know your venue and location.

What's included in a standard session

Every booth package comes with a trained crew member on site for the full session, and none of our units are drop-and-go. A standard session runs 3 hours, which covers most dinners, receptions and half-day activations. Setup and teardown are handled by the crew and don't eat into your session time.

How far ahead should I book a photo booth in KL or Selangor?

Weekends fill up fastest, especially during wedding season from March to August. Book at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead if you have a specific date in mind, earlier if it falls on a Saturday.

Can I extend the session beyond 3 hours?

Yes. Extensions are quoted per hour on top of the standard package. Let us know your expected run time when you request a quote so the crew schedule accounts for it.

Do you provide a photo booth for outdoor events?

Yes, with some conditions. Outdoor setups need shelter from rain and direct sun to protect the printer and lighting equipment, so we'll usually pair the booth with a canopy. Flag your venue when you enquire and we'll plan around it.

What's the difference between digital and DSLR image quality?

A DSLR booth uses a professional camera and studio strobes, which gives sharper detail and better skin tones on the printed photo, which is the reason most weddings choose it. A digital booth uses a built-in camera tuned for speed, and the print quality is still solid for casual and corporate use, just not at the same level as DSLR.

Which booth works best for a corporate event with a branded backdrop?

Digital and roaming booths both handle branded backdrops and overlays well, and roaming is the better fit when guests are standing and mingling rather than seated. For a gala dinner where printed keepsakes matter more, DSLR is worth the step up.
