One Screen, A Lot Of Uses

The same projector and screen set does very different jobs depending on the event. At a wedding it runs the couple's slideshow or highlight video during dinner. At a seminar or workshop it carries slides for two hours straight. At a grand opening it might just loop a brand video on repeat near the entrance. We rent the same reliable setup for all of it, delivered and put up before your event starts.

Choosing The Right Setup For Your Room

Two things matter more than the projector's spec sheet: how much ambient light is in the room, and how far back your furthest guest is sitting. A screen that reads perfectly in a dim ballroom can wash out badly under bright function-hall lighting or daylight, so if your event runs in a bright space or partly outdoors, tell us that when you book. We'll talk through whether the standard screen size and placement will work for your room, or whether you need to dim the space or reposition the screen. As a rule of thumb, the deeper the room, the further back you'll want the screen and the higher off the floor it needs to sit so guests at the back aren't looking over heads.

What size room does this projector and screen suit?

The 6ft x 8ft screen works well for most function rooms, ballrooms and tented setups. For very large halls or very deep rooms, message us your room dimensions and guest count and we'll advise honestly on whether the standard screen size is the right fit.

Can the projector be used outdoors?

Yes, it's often used for outdoor film screenings and events held under a canopy. Outdoor screenings work best after dark or in a shaded, covered area, since strong daylight will wash out the image on any projector.

Does ambient light affect the picture quality?

Yes. Bright rooms, daylight and strong ceiling lighting all reduce how crisp and visible the projected image looks. If your venue is naturally bright, let us know so we can advise on screen placement or whether dimming part of the room is possible.

How much does projector and screen rental cost?

Rental starts from RM500 per day for the projector and 6ft x 8ft screen. Delivery, setup and collection are quoted separately based on your venue and location.

Can we combine projector rental with a canopy or stage booking?

Yes. Many of our projector bookings go out together with a tent or canopy and staging for the same event, so we can deliver and set up everything in one visit.
