Why fairy lights are the cheapest big upgrade

A canopy after dark is a roof and shadows. Strings of warm light turn it into the part of the venue people photograph. Of everything on a setup list, this is the smallest number that changes how the whole event looks.

We hang them along the ceiling lines during the canopy install, run the cabling back to a single point, and test the lot before we leave. Nobody on your side climbs anything.

Matching the lights to the structure

A single Arabian or pyramid canopy takes one set, From RM220. Marquees are priced by length: From RM495 for a 6M span up to From RM2,250 for 30M, because the runs and power draw scale with the roof. Book them together with the transparent canopy and the ceiling becomes the main feature of the night.

For dinners we usually suggest fairy lights overhead and wedding canopy drapery at the entrance, which reads far more expensive than it costs.

Yes. Our crew hangs them during canopy setup, tests every run, and takes them down at collection. Installation is part of the rental.

Can fairy lights run outdoors in rain?

Under a canopy roof, yes. The strings sit beneath the canvas and the connections are kept off the ground. Fully exposed open-air runs are quoted case by case, so ask us with your layout.

How much power do they need?

A standard 13A wall socket covers a typical canopy set. Large marquee runs are planned against the venue supply during the site check, and we bring the extension cabling.

How far ahead should I book?

Two weeks is comfortable. Festive weekends and school holidays go earlier, so confirm the date once your venue is fixed.
