Why roaming works for standing events

A roaming booth is a crew member with a handheld camera and an iPad display, walking through the crowd instead of sitting in one corner. That makes it the better choice for a standing cocktail reception, a roadshow booth, a trade show floor or a dinner with fixed banquet seating where guests can't easily leave their table to queue at a fixed booth. It's also a natural fit for corporate activations in KL and Selangor where the brief is to capture as many guest interactions as possible in a short window, rather than a handful of posed group shots.

Roaming photo booth rental starts from RM1,100 for a standard 3-hour session. Venue location and any extra crew needed for a bigger floor plan are quoted on top.

Does the roaming booth need a power point nearby?

The handheld unit and iPad run on battery for the session, so it doesn't need to stay tethered to a socket. A charging point backstage or at a crew base is useful for longer events, but not required for a standard 3-hour session.

How much floor space does roaming photo booth need?

None, really. That's the point. The crew member moves through whatever space your guests are already in, whether that's a ballroom floor, a booth aisle at a trade show, or a mix of indoor and outdoor areas at a garden reception.

Is roaming better than a fixed booth for a wedding?

It depends on the layout. For a seated dinner with assigned tables, roaming lets the crew capture guests who'd otherwise never leave their seat to visit a booth. For a wedding with a lot of standing and mingling time before or after dinner, a fixed booth works just as well and gives a cleaner backdrop for the photo.

Can the roaming booth cover more than one room or floor?

Yes, within reason. If your event spans a ballroom and an adjoining foyer, or two floors of a venue, let us know at booking so we can plan crew movement and, if needed, add a second unit.

How do guests get their photos and videos afterward?

Each guest gets an instant AirDrop or QR-code link on the spot, the same session the photo or slow-motion clip is taken. There's no separate download step after the event.
