A VIP lounge or rest area is usually a coffee table with sofas around it, somewhere for guests to sit, drink coffee, take a call or run through their notes before a session. The same setup does a second job at conferences: it is the furniture forums and Q&A panels sit around when the format is a conversation rather than a stage and a podium.

Our coffee tables come in two sizes: 2ft x 2ft and the rectangular 2ft x 4ft, both built on an aluminium frame with a glass table top. A plain top suits a boardroom-style setting; add a small vase or a centrepiece and the same table sets a more social, easy-going mood for launches and mingling sessions.

Where these actually get used

Exhibition floors are the biggest single use: a coffee table anchors the hospitality corner of a booth, where visitors sit down instead of standing through a pitch. Product launches use the same set for a press or media corner off to the side of the main stage. Wedding planners order them for the lounge area near the entrance or the photo corner, paired with a sofa rather than banquet chairs. VIP holding rooms at corporate dinners use the plainest version of the same idea: a table, two sofas, somewhere for a speaker to sit before they are called up.

None of these are stand-alone bookings in practice. A coffee table on its own, with no seating around it, is unusual. What we deliver is nearly always the table plus the sofa or arm chairs that go with it, quoted and set up as one lounge corner rather than as separate line items you have to work out yourself.

Sizes and pricing

The 2ft x 2ft coffee table is From RM88, and the rectangular 2ft x 4ft is From RM135. The larger size is the better fit for a three-seater sofa or a wider lounge corner; the square 2ft x 2ft works for a tighter VIP nook or a pair of arm chairs. Both prices are per table, before delivery, transport and setup, which we quote once we know the venue and how many other pieces travel with it.

Pairing a full lounge set

Sofas are priced by seat count: a single seater is From RM200, a double seater From RM330, and a three seater From RM495. Cube stools (From RM44) and rectangular stools (From RM88) add extra seating around the table without crowding it, which is the usual move when a lounge corner needs to hold more people than two sofas comfortably seat. The full sofa and lounge range, including colours, sits on the pricing page and on furniture rental. A grass carpet underneath finishes the corner off if the floor beneath it is bare concrete.

Cutlery, cups and a decoration pass for the table itself are things our team can arrange alongside the furniture if you are running a served coffee station rather than just seating. Say so when you enquire and we will fold it into the same quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size coffee table should I book?

2ft x 4ft suits a three-seater sofa or a wider VIP corner with more than two or three guests at a time. 2ft x 2ft suits a tighter nook, a pair of arm chairs, or anywhere floor space is limited, like a smaller booth on an exhibition floor.

Do coffee tables come with sofas, or do I book them separately?

They can be booked either way, but almost every client orders them together as one lounge set. Tell us how many guests the corner needs to seat and we will suggest single, double or three-seater sofas with stools to fill it out.

Is the glass top safe for outdoor events?

It holds up fine under a canopy or indoors. For fully exposed outdoor setups, tell us the layout when you book, since wind and an unweighted glass top are not a good pairing and we may suggest a different top or extra bracing for that spot.

Can I decorate the table myself?

Yes. Most clients add a vase, a small floral arrangement or printed signage on the day. If you want us to handle table styling as part of the booking, mention it when you enquire.

Do you deliver, set up and collect the lounge set?

Yes, across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor. The table, sofas and stools go out and come back together, on the same truck as the rest of your furniture order.

How far ahead should I book?

Two weeks is comfortable for most bookings. Wedding season and the year-end corporate run fill up earlier, so confirm sooner if your date falls in either.
